Get in shape through your cardio!
If you are looking to truly transform your body and raise your personal level of functional performance, you must learn to manipulate your strength workouts into high-impact cardio sessions at the same time. You’ll see that the real cardiovascular benefits of training come from the endurance and progressive effort of functional training. Now, I’m not saying that you can’t go out for a run or ride your bike as usual, but I’m saying that when you’re in the middle of a strength training session, that session should also be structured to have a conditioning aspect to it. at the same time.
In order for you to do this, you need to be very innovative and have an open mind about your training. Kettlebells, sandbags, sleds, and resisted sprints are concrete examples of what cardiovascular strength training is all about. Too many times I’ve seen people go to gyms and fall more in love with the team when all the time it’s the training that gets the results. In my experience, around 95% of the majority of the population have no idea how to train their bodies to get the results they want the most and how to do it while avoiding injury.
Part of training is literally “training your body” to be able to perform a movement first and then the intensity progression can be varied depending on the individual’s performance level. You have to have good strength to have good cardio and you have to have good cardiovascular conditioning to have good strength. The two are not independent variables and are closely related. If you want to get in shape through your cardio, then you must be willing to participate in the types of cardiovascular strength training exercises that will make it possible.
