Open the dust cup
The first thing to do is open the dust container for your cleaner. To do that, press the button on the back and allow the dust cup to detach. It will come out of the back of your handheld unit.
Take out the filter
Once the dust bin, which traps much of the dust and dirt, has been removed, look inside and you will see the HEPA filter. Reach out and pull out the filter to clean it, pull gently and it will come out quite easily.
Empty the dust cup

Clean debris screen
