Santa Clarita is located just north of Los Angeles, in the beautiful region north of the San Fernando Valley. It’s becoming a popular place for visitors to Southern California to stay and play. If you have children of any age, Santa Clarita offers activities that will thrill and delight them. Six Flags Magic Mountain put this city on the map over twenty years ago and it continues to be an adventure park for kids of all ages. During the summer there are themed shows, with artists from all over the area, including some from the world famous California Institute of the Arts, located just three miles away in the Valencia section of our city. Santa Clarita is also home to the Center for the Performing Arts at the College of the Canyons. There is both local and professional entertainment throughout the year, and over the past year we have enjoyed Wayne Newton, Manhattan Transfer and our local talent working on a production of Beauty and the Beast.

Old Town Newhall is another section of this city that should not be missed during your visit. You can take a leisurely stroll down Main Street and check out the Cowboy Walk of Fame, where there are stars on the sidewalk for the many people who made movies and TV shows here, starting with William S.
