4. The first ATVs were really different from the modern ATVs we have today. Some of them originally came with 6 wheels. They were so bare that these vehicles did not have taillights until 1998, when they were asked to have them. It wasn’t until the HONDA Rubicon was put into production that ATVs came equipped with GPRS.

5. The introduction of Honda’s FourTrax TRX350 4X4 ATV in 1986 paved the way for the now popular four-wheel drive ATVs.

Over time, airport golf carts and baggage tractors were modeled after the four-wheel bicycle with modified specifications to serve a special purpose.

7. Quads are classified into three categories, road legal, off-road and utility. The road legal ones are the ones who need to register and of course they are allowed to drive on public roads with a driver’s license. Off-road quads are those used for recreation, farming, and other activities on rough terrain. Utilities are used for both the road and work.

8. Australian Matt Coulter set a world record by performing the longest distance jump on a quad. The date was April 17, 200 when he jumped over 14 Honda CRVs with a distance of 134 feet.
