Before 2007, the ATHEX was located in Psiris, Sofocleous Street, almost in the city of Athens. Because of this, the stock exchange and Sofocleous Street were recognized as one. It is now 110 Athinon Street, also called Kavalas St.

Futures and options trading based on computerized selection is carried out on indices, options and futures, the future exchange rate of the eurodollar plus the ten-year Hellenic Republic bond conducted through the Athens derivatives market.
