What is iron deficiency anemia?

It is a condition in which the number of red blood cells in the blood is low, causing a low blood count. It happens because your red blood cells don’t contain enough hemoglobin, an iron-rich protein that makes blood red.

  • Add other vegetables or fruits according to the recipe you choose

  • 3 oz beets
  • 10 oz carrots
  • 3 oz cucumber (remove skin if waxing)

4. Beetroot, carrot and pineapple juice

  • 4 oz beets
  • 5 oz diced fresh pineapple
  • 7 oz carrots

5. Beetroot, carrot and spinach juice

  • 4 oz beets
  • 6 ounce carrot
  • 4 oz baby spinach leaves
  • 2 ounces of apple
  • This juice is an excellent cleanser and has a high iron content)

6. Beetroot, carrot and celery juice

  • 4 oz beets
  • 6 ounce carrot
  • 4 oz celery
  • 2 ounces of apple
  • This juice is a good diuretic.

Warning: Do not drink beetroot juice in large quantities, as it is very potent and may cause nausea. Combine the beet juice with a base juice such as carrot juice. for example, 2 oz of beets mixed with 8 oz of carrot juice. If you drink beet juice straight, do not drink more than 3 oz at any one time.
