1 Timothy 6:12. Fight the good fight of faith, hold fast to eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

God’s Word tells us to fight the good fight of faith. We are called to be spiritual warriors in the kingdom of God. We are soldiers in the Army of God.

The purpose of an army is to ensure liberty and liberty. Without these things we would live under the rule of another. In the spirit world, the battle for world domination has already been fought and won by our Lord Jesus Christ. However, Satan’s lease on this world has not been exhausted. We still have to deal with him a bit more. However, we can take comfort in the fact that we don’t have to fight him. However, we have to fight the good fight of faith to walk in the victory that has already been won.

We as Christians can sometimes tire of the constant battle that comes with our walk in faith. I know that from time to time I feel this way. However, we have been equipped to fight and walk in victory. I also know that how I feel is irrelevant. I know that Jesus promised us that he would never leave us or forsake us. He is always there, whether we want him to or not. Forever!

We have been called into this army for a purpose, God’s purpose. His purpose is that we walk as children of light and declare the good news of the gospel wherever we go.

We have been called to fulfill the great commission as ambassadors for Christ.

We cannot do this without fighting. The enemy will try to stop us however they can. He does not have the authority to stop us, although sometimes He will hinder us by various means, but He cannot stop us. We cannot go through this type of spiritual battle without experiencing what it is like to stand when all seems lost. This is when we must not tire in your good fight of faith. That is why the apostle Paul admonished Timothy. Fight the good fight of faith. A good fight is a fight that you win. That is why we must never give up. The stakes are high. Quitting is not an option. Giving up is admitting defeat.

We are not defeated regardless of what the circumstances look like.

The apostle Paul said that my God always makes me triumph in Christ Jesus.

We must also understand that soldiers must go into battle with the proper training and equipment. God will equip us to do what He has called us to do. We are not sent into battle like unsuspecting soldiers.

All soldiers must go through a training course before receiving an assignment. During this time they go through a period of very rigorous physical and mental training.

The sole purpose of this training is to prepare and prepare them to do their job, and to be properly equipped to do whatever it takes to get the job done even in the harshest environments. Their own lives and the lives of their fellow soldiers can and will depend on them doing their job and doing it well. When you are in the service you do not sleep when you want, nor do you do what you want when you want. You belong to the army. You exercise when they tell you and sleep when they tell you. Shouldn’t we, as Christians, take our Christian service just as seriously? I am not talking about something legalistic, but about a serious attitude that we are in a fight to the end and we are in this to win.

The apostle Paul compared us to soldiers for a reason. We must be prepared to learn to fight as fully trained and equipped soldiers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The purpose of all this discipline and training is not to wear us down, but to prepare us for the battle that is sure to come. Trained soldiers stand their ground and know their place. Fear will not dominate you. Anxiety will not derail you. They will have learned to stand firm and fight. This training is necessary to be victorious. However, we are not doing a physical battle like military soldiers do, we are doing a spiritual battle and the training we do is in the spiritual realm. The weapons we use are the weapons and armor of God. The apostle Paul told the Ephesians to put on the full armor of God.

Ephesians 6: 13-18. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, so that you can endure in the evil day, and having finished everything, stand firm. Stand firm, therefore, girding your waist with the truth, clothed with the breastplate of righteousness, and shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

We have been given the armor of God to fight, to defend ourselves from the attack of the enemy and to recover what has been bought from us by right. Satan does not want us to know that we are already victorious. He would try to intimidate us into submitting. But you don’t have the right or the ability to do that. For the Christian who knows who he is in Christ Jesus, no weapon or deception of the enemy can prevent the will of God from being done.

This does not mean that there will be no fight. It means that we continue to fight with the weapons and armor of God until our time here on Earth ends, or until the Lord comes, whichever comes first. Those are our choices. I encourage you to put on your spiritual armor and start fighting those battles that would try to defeat you, your family and your loved ones. Keep saying that victory is near. Victory is near! I will not give up and I will not be defeated.

You must keep your faith built so that you will have stamina when the fight comes. A soldier without resistance is a soldier who will surrender in a moment of battle.

2 Timothy 2: 3-5. Therefore, you must endure difficulties as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No one involved in war becomes entangled in the affairs of this life to please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if someone competes in athletics, they are not crowned unless they compete according to the rules.

God’s Word tells us that we have the ability to endure, therefore we can. Not only can we, but we can be confident that we will be victorious if we stay built on God’s Word. Tell yourself; I will not fail, I will walk in the victory that was bought for me. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus, my God always makes me triumph in Christ Jesus.

We must maintain a victorious attitude and not give in to a defeatist attitude. That is the way to live. Satan will try to discourage you and tempt you with doubt. This is one of your weapons. This would be a way that we could be defeated, to allow discouragement to take over and begin to doubt God’s promises. We would give up the trust that we have worked so hard for. Don’t let this happen. It may not be easy, but don’t give up or give up. Remember, victory is near.

Let patience have its perfect work in you, developing you into the perfect man or woman of God until you reach the fullness of the stature of Christ.

Ephesians 4: 13-16. until we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we are no longer children, thrown from one side to another and carried from one side to another with all the winds of doctrine, by the deception of men, in the cunning cunning with which they lie in wait to deceive, but, speaking the truth with love, can grow in everything in Him who is the head, Christ, whose whole body, united and interwoven by what every joint supplies, according to the efficient work by which each part does its part, makes the body grow to your edification. loved.

You can see from this Scripture that we are not a single soldier by ourselves.

We are all in this together. We are collectively the body of Christ. This should encourage us to edify each other and be aware not to do anything that could tear each other apart. The one you tear down may be the one that was supposed to provide you with what you need to work effectively. This is how we grow and this is how we stay strong, not just individually but collectively as well. We are much stronger together than alone. Build each other up in faith and help each other where you can. If we all took this attitude, think about how much we would achieve. Much more than what we are achieving now.

I would like to encourage you to keep the faith and stay strong in the Lord. Remain in fellowship with other like-minded believers and build each other up. This is the kind of teamwork that will make you and others walk towards the victory that has already been won.

We dedicate all this time to training and preparation so that our faith does not fail, but remains strong even in times of trial and adversity. We must adopt the attitude of victory. Say that I will not give up and that I cannot be defeated. I am more than an overcomer in Christ Jesus.

1 John 5: 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.

Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you want to be a joint heir with Christ?

If so, I urge you to take the first step and fervently pray the following prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says: “… and whoever comes to me, I will not cast out.” (John 6:37),

So I know you won’t cast me out, but you welcome me and I thank you for it. You said in your Word: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Rom. 10:13).

I call on your name, so I know that now you have saved me. You also said: “… that if you confess with your mouth to the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, be saved. Because with the heart it is believed for justice, but with the mouth it is confessed for salvation” . (Romans 10: 9,10).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe he rose from the dead for my justification. And I confess it now as my Lord, because Your Word says, “… with the heart it is believed for righteousness …” and I believe with my heart, now I have become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21),

And I am saved! Thank my Lord!

Now I can honestly say, I see myself as a born again child of God!

Glory to God !!!! Amen.
