Glow is a card-drafting, dice-rolling and combinations game. You’ll recruit new traveling companions each turn, trying to combine their powers (or avoid their disadvantages). Gather many slivers of light to dispel the darkness, restore the colors, travel the land to reach landmarks, and score points!
The objective of Glow is to be the player with the most bursts of light collected over 8 days (rounds) of gameplay. Players earn bursts of light by playing certain cards with effects and by collecting the right combination of yellow and black dice on their adventurers’ gravestones, but losing them to the darkness is equally possible.
After choosing an adventurer, everyone rolls all of their dice simultaneously. These include the larger dice you start with, any companion dies you have collected, and the curse die if present. Any reroll tokens that you have in your possession are also used at this time, including the actual physical reroll tokens (discarded after use), any reroll symbols printed on the top of some companions, and the option to move back on the score tracker to the previous reroll symbol.
