It’s not just teenagers who suffer from oily skin and open pores. Men and women of all ages around the world are affected by the excess production of sebum in the skin, which causes this condition. To control oily skin, you need to cleanse at least twice a day. First, remove makeup and oil with a cleanser, then apply a toning solution to a cotton pad and wipe across the face. Follow with a pore minimizing serum and then your daily moisturizer. Next, you could apply a concealer designed specifically for open pores. These work almost like a very fine filler to smooth the skin and instantly hide open pores. They can be tinted and can be worn as a light foundation or alternatively you can apply your regular makeup on top.

Drinking alcohol and eating spicy foods can overstimulate the skin to produce even more oil. Eat a healthy diet, drink alcohol in moderation, and get plenty of fresh air to promote skin health.
