Physical phenomena and evidence of survival
There is a great deal of controversy surrounding the value of evidence in certain types of mediumship. Of course, we can argue until the cows come home about what constitutes good evidence, and evidence that is so general that it is a farce to include it. When it comes to mental mediumship, there seem to be indelible lines drawn that acknowledge the division. However, when it comes to physical mediumship and trance mediumship, the swords are drawn and the strongholds are occupied. You can almost hear the clash of cold steel between the believers, the skeptics, and the mediums themselves, and those lines I spoke of are so far away, in the distance, that they cannot be seen.

The evidence, I believe, can be segregated into two camps within mediumship, and perhaps should be considered as stages of development or a work in progress. We all agree that evidence for the survival of consciousness is paramount, but how does that fit with human perception? What one individual may consider evidence another may consider lack of evidence. You see, even this is governed by perception, belief, and understanding. So if we look at the discernible evidence in two ways, perhaps if you’ll pardon the pun, we’ll come to a happy medium. The two divisions have elements of each other within them, but perhaps provided in a different way. So first we have physical evidence and second we have evidence of survival. Ultimately, the elements of both must come together to obtain irrefutable evidence under scientific conditions.

Physical evidence
The physical evidence is perhaps where one will begin, for this phenomenon is what will begin to play out within the séance room at first. I don’t think there is a case that an individual could materialize as a spirit without some form of development. Even the most famous physical media of the time had to develop at some point in their lives. Often this development included the manifestation of physical phenomena. Each medium will find its own path and, guided by its own spirit, the team will begin to develop. The physical evidence normally found within the séance room is vast and varied, and a great deal of conjecture surrounds it.

Many will claim that there are elements of fraud within the room and in some cases this may be true. However, with the correct protocols, it is difficult to disprove some phenomena that go beyond the realms of science. The phenomenon of direct voice is one of the main types of phenomena that exist within the session room. This can be quite surprising, especially when being gagged silences the medium and the voices speak with such clarity and different intonation. It’s hard to refute. With this kind of evidence, you can often overlook the evidence for the survival of disembodied loved ones, although this is perhaps still in the development phase, and I’ll get to that later. Of course, there are other phenomena that are just as exciting, such as the levitation of various items around the room, disembodied parts like a hand or a head. For most, partial materializations or indeed full materialization should be the most convincing, along with receiving gifts known as spirit world contributions. In addition, atmospheric changes and distinctive odors can often be experienced. Now if the medium has been securely strapped to a chair and all possible options have been covered that negate that possibility of fraud. It would be necessary to accept that something beyond science is happening. Of course, there are phenomena that you would question, but the spiritual lights that will illuminate the room and move within your own consciousness can leave you stupefied. I understand this is not empirical evidence, but if you keep reading you will see what may develop over time.

evidence of survival
Now let me turn to the evidence of survival within the session room. I am aware that survival evidence is usually easier when it comes to the thought process of mediumship. However, this type of evidence can often be constrained by the way the media perceives the information. What the spirit may wish to convey can often be misinterpreted. conversely, when the medium has developed to such a point that a spirit can completely anesthetize them, the spirit team can often allow loved ones to communicate via direct voice. The evidence that can be given under these conditions is quite amazing and may include only information that is known to the model. Full names, addresses, and other proofs are often given that are not the norm for mental mediumship.

Sometimes the spirits often bring gifts to attendees, which we understand as input and the whole process can be a life changing experience. Obviously, evidence of survival given through direct voice can often be conveyed in different dialects and languages, which of course is difficult to rule out if the medium has no knowledge of this language.

empirical evidence
The combination of both facets should lead to empirical evidence because, on the one hand, you have the physical phenomena that can be attributed to the team spirit inside the room, and for the evidence that loved ones can receive through the mediumship process. . Of course, this requires a lot of development and perhaps this is the reason why too many people rush development these days. This impatience may actually be more of a hindrance than anything else, which could also be a reason for the weak phenomena in the session room.

conclusion

In conclusion, the evidence within the session room is of paramount importance for two main reasons.

1. There is evidence of the afterlife
2. The evidence of loved ones who can help heal.

It should be noted that getting to this point will require a lot of development and although development is an ongoing process, one must ensure that it is not rushed. Perhaps this way we can make sure that our evidence is irrefutable and that we can start to have more success in lighting conditions. We will then be able to silence those of a pseudo-skeptical nature and continue the foray into the power of our spirit and the interplay of worlds between worlds.
