Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is a beautiful beach along the Delaware coast. It is the perfect place to park and tan in the middle of summer. The weather in Rehoboth is very warm during the day, but tends to be a bit chilly at night. The definition of cold is used sparingly, as the temperature is usually around 60 degrees. This is easily considered cold on a dark and windy night. During the day, however, the weather generally reflects the Northeast’s average temperatures: 80 degrees on a good day, 90 degrees on an extremely hot day. It rarely exceeds 100.

Many prefer the climate in Rehoboth compared to the southern shores because in the south, humidity mixed with high temperatures often leaves people unhappy. Rehoboth, however, gives you exposure to warm sunlight without the terrible humidity that a constant state of humidity causes.

Many families choose Rehoboth as their vacation spot due to the mild climate and sunny skies. When you bring a family to the beach, you are sure to find activities such as amusement parks, miniature golf, shopping on the boardwalk, etc. If the weather is unbearably hot, no one likes to participate in these events. That is why many families will migrate to Rehoboth; they can do everything they would like to do without feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Rehoboth, being so close to the Maryland border, is also known for its seafood; crabs and crab cakes to be exact. They can use Maryland blue crab in many of their dishes, which often results in great popularity. The restaurants on this beach are endless and you can always find a fun place to eat, whether you are with your family, with a loved one, or even alone!

Rehoboth also has many shops on the boardwalk where kids and adults can shop for fun jewelry, fun t-shirts, or even hermit crabs. Cage, sand, crabs, and crab food are included. These are a huge hit with the minors. Saltwater candy is another big draw in the seaside town. There are saltwater candy stores lined along the boardwalk and they make a great gift or souvenir to take as a present for yourself or one of your friends.

There is a beautiful lake, called Silver Lake, where couples and families often cycle. Once you get to Silver Lake, you can feed all the ducks and seagulls, which is always fun! It is a great pleasure for the birds. Speaking of goodies, the best breakfast spot in town is a store called Lingo’s. It is a grocery store similar to the beach, but in the mornings it also acts as a bakery. The cinnamon buns that you can buy in this little shop are some of the best cinnamon buns you will ever eat. They’re hot and cool and drizzled with frosting. After your first melt-in-your-mouth bite, you’ll be hooked right away. The city is full of hidden treasures and it is definitely recommended to head to Rehoboth and get a taste of what this beach city has to offer.
