Although Crystal Meth is considered to be a dangerous substance abuse, the real problem is its devastating effects on the health of users. These groups argue that regulating the sale and use of this highly addictive substance will protect the public from its ill effects.

As you can see, the war on drugs is often a never ending cycle that targets minorities and people who have been historically suppressed by society. The recent headlines are proof that crystal meth abuse is becoming an increasingly entrenched problem in our country. While the government and drug treatment programs work to regulate the sale and distribution of this highly addictive drug, we as a society need to draw the line and ban its use outright. With the limited forms of medication doctors can prescribe for the treatment of crystal meth abuse, there are no real medical options for people suffering from its negative side effects. Help is available for those who are willing to reach out and can take control of their lives and their health.
