Growing up in the Bronx in New York City during the 1960s was both a spiritual and cultural challenge. Neighbor Helping Neighbor was a prominent feature in our building community. But now, at this midpoint in my life, I have met someone who, with great admiration, I say, taught me about the spirituality of self-improvement. Together, with the help of others, we have reached out to many large companies to help us transport the books to Africa and then safely distribute them to schools and children in need.

We have had the doors closed in our faces by Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, publishing companies, organized church groups like the Episcopal Church; And that’s what it is, more potholes in the road. But, our strength, strength and hope will not stop, we will prevail. The Spirit is with us at all times. It is about faith in the world as we try to be a nation of “oneness.” Let faith conquer fear, because, as President Roosevelt said, the only thing to fear is fear itself. Let’s move on.

We are just a few women who have a “dream”. A dream that for some, who have a library full of books, may seem so trivial, but for a child who does not have books, reading is their gateway to education, self-esteem, personal security and above all hope. of achievement. That the children feel the love that we want to give them … With God everything is possible ….. Blessings, Peace with hope, Verónica
