Ariana Grande’s latest album, Wishes, is set to be released on April 13th and it will be the band’s first release since the death of Tyga, which happened over a year ago. Since Tyga was the singer of many popular songs, there were plenty of theories surrounding where he was able to get his music from, but nothing has been traced thus far. Now that the album is finally here though, we have a clearer idea as to where this incredible music came from. Ariana Grande’s new album, Wishes, is sure to be a big hit, especially with kids and young adults.
One of the best parts about Wishes is that Ariana Grande took some time out of her busy schedule to write and record a special song for her longtime musical partner, DJ Chris Brown. As you can imagine, this song wasn’t easy for Grande to perform live due to it’s huge guitar tone, but she was able to get it done with the help of Chris Brown. The song, “Wish You Were Here,” features guest stars such as Macy Gray, Rihanna, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, J.Lo, and many more. This is just a small taste of the amazing music that Wishes holds.
Another great track on Ariana Grande’s album, Wishes, is “Give Me the Reason.” It is a slow paced piano ballad about a mother and daughter that sounds like it could be sung by Grande herself. This track is a favorite on the album, but there are also others to listen to if you don’t mind slow piano music.

The only song that will truly blow you away from this album is “Give Me the Reason.” This is the single from the album, and it is simply breathtaking. The music is magnificent as Grande belts out the hook and the piano chords match the intensity of the vocals. It is easy to see why this song made this album so successful.
In addition to these wonderful songs, Ariana Grande also provides some great backing tracks throughout her performance onscreen. I especially love her appearance on the video for “Paparazzi.” The video features Grande’s dog as the star, and is a hilarious feature that captures the humor of the song perfectly. The album’s opening song, “What’s in the Water?” also has a great send off as Grande’s character rips a page out of the newspaper and throws it back at the crowd.
Overall, Ariana Grande’s album, Wishes, is definitely worth a listen. Even if you have never performed live before, the acoustic performances, which comprise much of the songs, are very enjoyable. If you’re a fan of pop music or maybe even of country music, then you will not want to miss out on this album. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on it either!
